I joined BeamJobs in July 2023, initially as a short-form writer, about a month after missing out on another role at BeamJobs. True to her word, Lisa, our senior content manager followed up when a better opportunity came along. I said yes, and I’m glad I did.
Today, I sit at the core of our content operations to make sure every piece our team publishes meets BeamJobs’ standard of clarity, accuracy, and value for job seekers. From quality assurance checks on resume examples to ensuring our templates and pages function as intended, I keep the engine running. I also execute experiments on our content to test and iterate on new ideas. By tracking emerging trends, particularly in AI and recruiting technology, I help align our content strategy with what matters now. When Lisa has a vision, I help bring it to life.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Media Studies from Moi University in Eldoret, Kenya. I live in Nairobi with my wife and our two sons.

Replying to our content manager’s “rejection” email. Asking to be considered if another role came along paid off in dividends.
Memorable fact
I was chased by an elephant in Tsavo East National Park in April 2024. I have never stepped harder on a gas pedal.
